Gorgeous handcrafted pottery bowl by Ceramic artist Nicholas Fabian - assume a traditional Purepecha design - fish and sea / wave motif has been scored into the body of the bowl - the color is rich and varied terra cotta - but a little more orange - assume from the firing process - purchased from the estate of a nat geo travel photographer - signed on reverse: Nicholas Fabian F Ma del Rosairo Lucas Sta Fe de la Laguna Michoacan Mexico. Excellent vintage condition - heavy - measures 6 1/2" in diameter 1 1/2" deep - weighs 12.3 ounces.
