Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Spanish Oyster Dolphin Form Horseradish Pot Spoon D Garcia
Gorgeous and Rare - 915 silver lidded horseradish pot with matching spoon - art nouveau style - circa 1935 - the pot is on a raised foot and in the form of a stylized oyster shell - the c-form handle is in the form of a dolphin - both spoon and pot are marked with the 5 pointed star - Spanish 915/1000 standard silver and maker's mark a chalice within a hexagon for maker Dionisio Garcia - silversmith to King Alfonso XIII of Spain (1886-1941). Pot measures 4 x 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches - Spoon 2 5/8" long - total weight - I have left both pieces completely tarnished as I found them - otherwise excellent vintage condition.
