Antique French Sevres Blue Opaline Glass Sterling Vermeil Lay Down Perfume Bottle Flask c1850

Gorgeous French sevres blue opaline cut and polished glass with gold hand painted decoration (loss and wear to gilding) mounted with a hand engraved scroll motif collar and three barrel hinged cap - both hallmarked with the French Boars head (800 standard) and unidentified maker's mark within a lozenge shape - Gold Vermeil plating is in very good condition - no longer retains original stopper and there is wear to collar and glass at opening - later stop is included - small rough spot at shoulder (see photograph) - measures 4 1/8 x 1 1/2 x 1 inches and weighs 2.2 ounces on my postal scale.
