Early Victorian era Sterling Silver Calling Card Case Wallet - fully engine turned design with an un - engraved cartouche with classic garter motif - fully hallmarked with unidentified maker's mare C&C, Birmingham anchor, sterling lion, Victoria's head and date letter Z for the year 1874 - the hinge and lid fit close and tight - some tarnish as I found it - two shallow dimples to body as seen in photograph - otherwise very good antique condition - will hold cards measuring 1 5/8, (1 1/2) x 3 inches.
