Antique 19th century French Gilded Brass Pietra Dura Floral Chamberstick

Simply lovely - the drip panel is in excellent condition - there is no missing tesserae and the fitting is fine with subtle gradations of color - the slate backing is chipped on the edges - the twist wire setting is gilded brass or possibly Ormolu - the pietra dura tells a story in the language of flowers - from the rose to the morning glory and culminating in the forget-me-not - measures 6 x 4.5 x 3.33 inches - weighs 11.2 ounces - some faint wear.
