If you are located in the US, we offer an interest free layaway plan through ShopPay which can be found on every listing.  For all other layaways including international sales, we can also offer an interest free LAYAWAY plan for items over $200 should you need that option. We offer a 60 day term with a 25% non refundable deposit. Let us know your payment options and we will create a listing for the down payment. The balance will be split into two payments and a listing will be sent to you. Payments not received when billed and within the allotted time frame will negate the sale and your initial deposit will be forfeited unless other arrangements have been discussed. Please note that payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.  No discount on Layaway items. We do not offer layaway on sale items but can be purchased through ShopPay layaway.

By completing the checkout process, you agree to all the terms associated with the layaway plan.  Failure to complete all payments or backing out on the layaway will result in loss of your initial deposit. No returns or exchanges on layaway items. No discounts applied to layaway items or sale items.

STANDARD RETURN PROCESS

1. Notify us within two (2) days of receipt via email.

2. All items should be returned in the original condition and packaging sent, insured, postmarked within 2 business days after receiving the package which is shown by the tracking number on the USPS website - NO exceptions. Tracking number provides us with the date of delivery. Buyer pays for all shipping costs.  Refunds are made for the purchase price less any credit card or other payment processor fees, generally 2.9% or 3.49% depending on the means of payment selected as well as the original shipping cost to you. Please notify us at hstewarthantiques@gmail.com of the return shipping tracking number when posted.   

3. Your money is refunded less any shipping and insurance fees and credit card fees within 48 hours of receipt if the item is in the same condition as sent and returned within the 7 days of receipt. A store credit will be issued if returned past seven days of receipt.

4. There are no refunds on sale items, layaway purchases, Regular priced items can be returned for a refund.  We also do not offer discounts on layaway purchases.  

5. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS Import duties, taxes and related charges are not included in the price. These charges, whatever they may be, are the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. We are honest regarding items values on customs forms. International packages that are refused at the point of delivery will not be refunded. Packages under $400 are shipped via First Class which includes insurance and tracking. Items over $400 will be shipped by Priority which includes tracking and insurance. Upgraded shipping options are available at checkout.

Refunds will be issued within 48 hours of receipt of the item in same condition as sent.

The refund will be in the same form as the original payment.

If paid via credit card, please allow a few days once the refund is processed to show on your statement depending on the issuing bank.

We stand by every item as stated that we present for sale. However, if the piece is not to your complete satisfaction there is no negotiation for a partial refund. Your options are a full refund, or to keep your purchase.

Our apologies but we are unable to refund upgraded shipping charges.

All sales are considered final if the 2 day notification is not met and after 7 days (weekends included). A store credit will be issued if returned past the 7 day time period. No Exceptions.

If we do not hear from the buyer within 30 days, we reserve the right to list the item(s) back in our shop. Refunds will not be offered, with no exceptions.

MODIFIED, ALTERED, DAMAGED & LAYAWAY ITEMS

Each piece has been professionally examined and tested for metal content.
Unless noted, a certificate will not be included.  Stone carat weights stated represent approximate weights which can vary. Due to the age, antique and vintage jewelry is often not perfect and may have normal signs of surface wear, or small imperfections due to its handcrafted rather than mass-manufactured nature.  

There are no guarantees with preowned, vintage, or antique jewelry. All items are sold
as is and we cannot accept returns of damaged items that have been out of our
possession. There is no recourse once you take it to another jeweler for sizing or any other purpose. 

Modified, damaged or altered items which includes ring, necklace or bracelet resizing,
cannot be accepted for return. Returns are not permitted on layaway purchases.  There will be no exception. All sales are considered final after 7 days.

REFUNDS

You, the buyer, agree to all the terms herein when making a purchase.

We want to make sure you are pleased with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us first. All returns will be handled on a case by case basis. In general, these are vintage pieces and are sold in as is condition and all sales are considered final. We do our best to describe all items as they are found with condition and approximate age etermined. The photos are considered part of the description. If an item description was SUBSTANTIALLY INACCURATE (ie broken, wrong color such as green not red), we will gladly refund your purchase less shipping. NO REFUNDS OR CREDIT FOR BUYERS REMORSE or for monitor color variations or size which is given in the description. Should a buyer return an item without consent/approval from the seller or for any of the reasons stated regarding buyers remorse, there will be a 25% restocking fee.

Should a return be granted for an inaccurate description, the piece must be returned in
the original condition and packaging sent, insured, POSTMARKED within 2 days
after receiving the package in the mail and contacting us...NO exceptions. Buyer pays for all shipping costs. What may appear as normal wear to us may be significant to you.

All the jewelry is vintage or antique and has been previously worn. Items will show wear commensurate with their age and any major flaws will be noted. Enlarged close, detailed photos are taken for you to view. All items are described to the best of our knowledge. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us or request additional photos. You, the buyer, are the final judge after viewing the photos and reading the description.

US SHIPPING 

We gladly combine shipping on multiple items purchased. All US purchases are shipped within 24 hours of payment barring weekends and holidays. Purchases are mailed via USPS Ground Advantage. Upon checkout, there are options to upgrade to Priority (US $9.50) or Express (US $28.75). Packages will be insured. All packages are wrapped securely, boxed and sent with delivery confirmation.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING 

Import duties, taxes, and related charges are not included in the price. These charges, whatever they may be, are the responsibility of the buyer. International shipping packages that are refused at the point of delivery will not be refunded. Packages are shipped by First Class International ($18.00) which includes insurance. On checkout, there are options to upgrade to Priority ($35.00) with insurance included or Express ($65.00) with insurance included in shipping charge. International packages that are refused at the point of delivery will not be refunded.

We are unable to insure packages to the Russian Federation or China. All packages will be shipped at buyers risk as we can not be responsible for their postal system.  Any loss or theft of packages once entering the Russian or Chinese postal system will be the buyer's responsibility.

By purchasing, the buyer further agrees that laws governing the European Economic Community shopping rights do not apply to their order.
